Born and raised in Edinburgh, Katrina moved to London in 2013 to study her MA in Acting at East 15 Acting school. Previous to this she gained her BA honours in Film & Media and Journalism Studies at Stirling University.

After Graduation Katrina co-founded the all female, Spectra Theatre Company. The companies aim is to create original pieces of theatre that give a voice to women throughout time and show their perspectives on historical, social, and political events Their first show, After Penelopehas had two successful sell-out runs in London, a sell-out show at the Fringe Festival in Rome, and a successful show at the RADA festival. The company then moved onto a sell out run at the Camden Fringe with their second show, Harry’s Girls. 

Katrina is a company member of ‘Passion in Practice’ Shakespeare company and, with them, have performed twice at the Globe Theatre in Sam Wanamaker Playhouse.  During her training and afterwards she has worked with directors such as; Ben Crystal, Russell Lucas and Colleen Prendergast.
